Gift Shop Spotlight!

Confluence Gallery is proud to feature Lauralee Northcott Pine Needle Basketry

Lauralee Northcott creates intricate Pine Needle Basketry, taking a traditional craft and personalizing it with gem stones, horse conchos mounted on leather, stone beads, glass beads, agate slices, and fossils.

Each basket is unique and she makes an effort to make each basket more exciting than the last.We have a beautiful selection of Lauralee's basketry here in the Confluence Gallery gift shop.

Have you ever smelled pine needles on a hot summer day? Lauralee loves the aroma of summers in the Methow Valley, when you can walk the hills and smell the beautiful big Ponderosa Pine trees. These trees inspired her to craft her baskets.

Lauralee is a long-time resident of the Methow Valley, most known for her musical talents, her band Horse Crazy Cowgirl Band is Western Music Associations "Harmony Group of the Year" 2014.  She was a guide and cook in the Pasayten wilderness and writes cowboy music and cowboy poetry.

Smell the Methow in her pine needles.
It is the scent of season and home.
Follow these winding coils.
Let them hold memories.
Here are joys and sorrows of days lived well.
Take this piece of the valley from my heart to yours.

Come on in to the Confluence Gallery gift shop and smell them for yourself!
We are open Wed - Fri 10-5 and Sat 10-3.
