Award winning teacher Dan Brown teaches how to paint on silk. A fine 15” x 60” Habotai 8mm silk scarf will be provided, along with all dyes and supplies needed for this class that will brighten your late winter days.

International Women's Day

Four locations. Four themes. Twelve workshops.

Come join Confluence and Room One for a celebration of women in the Methow Valley. On International Women's Day women connect worldwide to celebrate and honor women past, present, and future. Amazing women celebrities, athletes, political leaders, and experts speak about women’s issues today.

Although the festive day is on March 8th, our celebration will take place on March 10th, a Saturday.  The morning will begin with breakfast treats at Confluence.  We will then break into groups to partake in a walking journey between the following locations:

Confluence will offer 3 hours of arts and crafts workshops.  The Methow Valley Inn will dedicate 3 hours to health and nutrition.  The Studio will host 3 hours of creative movement and dance.  Basic Mechanics workshops will be offered at TwispWorks.

Donations of $10 are encouraged.  All donations will benefit Room One's emergency fund for women.

Artist Meeting

Join us for our quarterly artist meeting at Confluence. Artists will meet to share and network. We will discuss the upcoming Studio Tour and creation of a Methow Valley Artists Map. We will also seek input for International Women’s Day clinics as well as proposals for 3 day summer art camps. Snacks and beverages provided.
