“Borders are inventions that have the purpose of containing, separating, and differentiating us.” Katy Muñoz in her introduction to the exhibition Thirty Ideas in Tokyo. An exhibition of art that explores the concept of borders as a subject matter to be celebrated or challenged.
Working
from several photographs, students learn to sketch pet poses and moods. Pencil,
ink and watercolor will be used to produce these light hearted and whimsical
drawings. Come spend 3 productive hours with renowned painter Jean Bradbury.

$10 donation and occasional minimal materials fee Join the crafters after hours Thursday evenings at Confluence. Each week a different member shares their latest clever creation by leading the group in a two hour craft project. Projects can be taken home, gifted or sold in the gift store.
Portraits of your pets and human loved ones will be
painted on site by real live, local artists. Bring photos or your subject to
the Confluence Gallery and see what our talented artists can do. It would make
a great gift for a sweetheart. Saturday mornings (ongoing), starting January 21, will feature live painters.
Paintings will be available for purchase; proceeds benefit the artist and Confluence's art education programs.
